What Would Ridley Do? has now been edited and is currently being entered into festivals all over the world. We are trying to find some funding to properly finish the film with a sound dub, ADR and colour grade.

›What Would Ridley Do Update

A rough assembly of the scenes has been constructed and now is the time to "kill my babies" or in other words cutting scenes that I don't need, try and make the film shorter and tighter. I am also looking into getting an editor to help me out with this process. Getting an outsiders point of view would be a great help.

Here at DG, we are very excited about the new digital SLRs that shoot HD video, the quality, colours are amazing and with the ability to put prime lenses on them the depth of field is very film like. We have already shot a music video with one (Aspen Tide) and are in the process of making a lot more stuff, so stay tuned!

› Digital Guerillas film viral for stv jobs

On Monday 9th February Digital Guerillas followed 10 actors performing 3 live stunts in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. The actors performed a "war dance" in public recreating the stvjob advert, which can be seen here. The viral will be on very soon that's all I can say at the moment!

Digital Guerillas were on the set of the new road safety campaign, the follow up to the very successful "if you hit me at 30" advert. The advert is due on your screens in February and our behind the scenes will be out at the same time.

› Digital Guerillas visit Valhalla Set!

Digital Guerillas has visited and produced a set report for Glasgow Film Office on the new feature film Valhalla Rising. With interviews from Mads Mikkelsen, Gary Lewis, producer Karen Smyth and many more it will show an interesting insight into the making of the film. Look out for the report closer to the release of the film.

› Behind the Scenes of 'Rounding Up Donkeys'

For the last 5 weeks we have been working on a behind the scenes documentary for the follow up to 'Red Road'. "Rounding Up Donkeys" was shot entirely in and around Glasgow. The documentary will be on the DVD when it's released and a small sample will be in our show reel section very soon.

› BAFTA Awards Nomination!

There is going to be some mixing with the stars on 11th February as Hikikomori has been nominated in the short film category at this year's BAFTA UK awards in London. Fingers crossed!

› 2 New Short Documentaries for Channel 4

Digital Guerillas have just completed 2 short documentaries for Channel 4. They will be shown on the New 4 Talent Website in the very near future!

› More Awards!

We added to our awards (Half cake half biscuit, Audience Award at Scottish Students on screen) with Hikikomori winning the New Work Award at the Scottish Baftas held on Sunday 12th November 2006. It also was nominated for Best New Performance and Best New Screenplay. Hikikomori also picked up the best Drama Award at the Royal Television Society Scotland for Best Drama Awards.
